The Experient VoIP PSAP Controller is a true IP based
system with an integrated VoIP PBX; it’s Linux based, fully
redundant, has a system MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) that
is estimated at more than 1,000,000 hours and a system
availability exceeds 99.999%.
A Reliabilty White Paper with specific details is
available from our Download section.
Experient’s VoIP
PSAP Controller also has built-in monitoring capabilities
that continually watch the health of the system and notify
Experient as well as other vendors, PSAP technical personal
and dispatchers of any issues that may arise (e.g. Telco
line problems, CAD issues, etc.).
In addition, Experient’s support team can access the
PSAP Controllers remotely, diagnose all aspects of the
system, provide updates and change system settings; all
without any interruption to the operation of the PSAP.
Experient’s PSAP Controller Dispatcher GUI (which is
located on the PSAPs workstations) works hand-in-hand with
Experient’s VoIP PSAP Controller and provides dispatchers
with a quick and easy-to-use way to receive caller location
and call status information, perform call transfers and
communicate with the deaf using TTY/TDD.
The GUI works seamlessly with Microsoft Windows
XP/Vista and any Windows application.
